Sue DiCaprio, the new Chief Brand Officer of Brilliantia Jewelry, is merely 29 years old. However, in the past five years, she has already shifted her path from a successful entertainment career to business battlefield. In 2014, she established “Born in Pure”, a brand of shoes which only sells animal-free leather products. In 2015, she shouldered the important responsibility to serve as the Chief Brand Officer of Brilliantia Jewelry under the thirty-year-old DLJ Group.

『Age does not matter. It is ‘experience’ that denotes the key to success.』

Many are curious about what has made who she is today. “Attitude is the very first step leading to success”, she said. All she thinks about is how to achieve the goals instead of how many hours she has worked or how much overtime charges she would receive. She described herself as a kind of person who would sacrifice holidays to get missions accomplished if there is a goal lying ahead. She is a ‘born creator’ who enjoys working very much.

As the Chief Brand Officer of the newly-established Brilliantia under the renowned DLJ Group in Taiwan, Sue DiCaprio’s youngness and enthusiasm are the company’s greatest strength. Her foresight and courage bring fresh energy into the brand. In fact, thanks to her business venture experience in creating the brand of animal-free women leather shoes, it is not strange to her about branding. She said it was out of her expectation to go into jewelry industry, but it is due to DLJ Jewelry’s enduring ODM/OEM experience and quality diamonds that prompted her to lead the work to transform Brlliantia, a traditional ODM/OEM manufacturer, into a jewelry boutique.

Serving as Brilliantia’s Chief Brand Officer gives Sue a chance to put her dream into realization. On the first time meeting with the DLJ founder, she wsa moved by his philosophy and attitude in running business, which convinced her that it is a diamond brand with a soul inside. She also recalled that one time in a dinner gathering, she was overwhelmed by the founder’s sharing of his future plan of branding strategy that aims at markets both at home and abroad.

Sue hopes to present the Taiwanese sophisticated craftsmanship to the world and to have the essence of Chinese culture and taste of beauty be seen by people all over the world. She also hopes that Taiwan can become the most brilliant diamond star shining on the world map, even though it is just a small tiny dot hardly seen on the Google Map.

接任BRILLIANTIA品牌總監是她另一個理想版圖。與創辦人見面的第一天,就被他對於經營理念的態度與哲學所感動。她說:{這是一個有生命,有靈魂的鑽石品牌}。想起一次聚餐時,創辦人提及對於品牌未來的計畫,要如何在台灣及國際紮根的想法,令她非常動容。
